This class was fantastic. Melanie was a ball of fire and very knowledgeable. She is very willing to share most of her tips and tricks to help your hobby become more consistent or maybe even a business. She will answer any questions that you may have. I would continue to take classes with her if she offered more advanced classes in the future. All and all, great class and you won't be disappointed.

I really enjoyed the class and learned a lot about both buying and making candles. Melanie, the teacher, is clearly super knowledgeable and informed about the industry. I enjoyed the way the class was structured. You will come away from this class knowing how to make your own soy and coconut wax-based candles and what to look for when buying candles.

From start to finish, this was an absolutely amazing experience. Melanie is super friendly and it is evident that she has a passion, not only for making candles, but for teaching others the craft. Her enthusiasm is contagious, and she has an amazing ability of sharing her knowledge in a way that it easy for anyone to understand. Melanie was thorough in discussing all of the tools you need to get started!
In the final episode of Scent Trail Season One, I return to the sunlit alleys of Curaçao. Guided by murals, sea light, and a custom scent of orange zest, tonka bean, and passion fruit, this chapter is a soft goodbye to all that’s been lived, and a quiet return to self. Curaçao didn’t just inspire a fragrance. It reminded me what it means to come home scented, softened, and still.
Mexico doesn’t whisper. It hums, burns, sings, and aches. In this episode, I walked through jungle heat and coastal silence, followed the scent of copal through hidden ceremonies, and sat still enough to hear what the earth was really saying. There was music in the streets, ritual in the chaos, and something holy in the way the land pressed up against me. This wasn’t just a place, it was an experience that demanded to be felt. “El Piel de la Tierra” is my love letter to Mexico, to stillness, to sound, and to the sacred mess of being alive.
In “Fever and Stone,” I journey through illness, surrender, and the sacred stillness of Ha Long Bay. What began as a fever dream in Hanoi became a sensory descent, through rain, ritual, and scent, that reshaped how I create. This is not just a travel story. It’s a meditation on breaking down to remember who you are.
