Melanie is the founder of Artisane Candle Atelier and the creative force behind its candle-making workshops. A French native now based in New York City, Melanie brings over a decade of passion for creating non-toxic, eco-friendly candles.

Her workshops are designed to foster creativity, connection, and learning, whether for corporate team-building events or private gatherings. With a commitment to sustainability and a keen eye for detail, Melanie ensures that every participant leaves with not only a beautifully crafted candle but also an unforgettable experience.

Most common questions:

What do we need to host a private candle class in our office?

A spacious area capable of accommodating your entire group, such as a conference room or cafeteria. It should be equipped with tables and chairs to accommodate all participants
comfortably. Additionally, access to an electrical outlet nearby is necessary. Rest assured, we'll take care of bringing all other
necessary materials and equipment for the workshop.

How long does a workshop last?

The workshop is expected to last approximately 45 minutes. Our team will arrive 30 minutes beforehand to set up, and we anticipate needing around 15-20 minutes for cleanup afterward, ensuring your space remains tidy.

What is included in the candle-making workshop?

Each workshop includes all the materials needed: candle jars, wax, wicks, fragrances, and instructions. For online workshops, kits are shipped directly to participants.

Can we customize the candle's label design with our logo?

We offer label customization. You can incorporate your logo and branding details onto the labels. Simply send us your graphic file in a round format with a diameter
of 2.75 inches. Please note that there is an additional flat fee of $250 for this service and that we need the design to be provided at least 15 days before the event.

Where do you offer in-person workshops?

In-person workshops are available in New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Connecticut.

Do you offer virtual workshops?

Yes! We offer online workshops worldwide, and we ship candle-making kits directly to participants.

How far in advance should I book a workshop?

We recommend booking at least 2-4 weeks in advance for in-person events and 3-4 weeks for online to ensure timely shipping of kits.

What group sizes can you accommodate?

For our in-person events, we can accommodate a maximum of 100 participants. However, for our online events, there is no maximum limit on participants.

How are online workshops conducted?

Online workshops are hosted via Zoom or your preferred platform. Participants receive a link to join the session on the scheduled day.

What if a participant is located outside the U.S. for an online workshop?

We ship kits worldwide, but please allow additional time for international deliveries, as well as additional costs.
